BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Since 2000 she is a sworn translator and interpreter of Dutch and German entered on the register of sworn translators and interpreters of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Poland under the number TP/3801/05. The owner of the Sworn Translator – Interpreter Office. The working languages are: Dutch, German, English, French and Polish. Translations and interpreting services are offered in all combinations of these languages.

A graduate of the University of Wrocław in the field of Dutch philology (1998) and in the field of German philology (2000), which she finished with the grade „very good“.
In the years 1998-2002 a PhD student at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Department of International Political Relations at the University of Wrocław.

From October 2019, a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zielona Góra, discipline – Linguistics. As a result of the recruitment, she obtained the highest number of points among all the candidates.

In the years 2000-2010, she was employed at the Consulate General of the Republic Poland in Brussels. During this period, she received a government scholarship from the Flemish Community at the General Secretariat of the Benelux Economic Union. She was a scholarship holder of the European Commission in the Directorate-General for Interpretation (DG SCIC) in Brussels and a scholarship of the European Parliament at the College for Translators and Interpreters (HIVT) in Antwerp.

Her translation activities include:
1. translation of a scientific monograph from Polish into Dutch, Agata and Zbigniew Judycki, Poles in Belgium and Luxembourg, Oficyna Wydawnicza Kucharski, Toruń 2001;
2. translation of the book from German into Polish, Andrea-Anna Cavelius, Birgit Frohn Das grosse Buch der Volksheilkunde. Heilen mit den Kräften der Natur – Zioła w medycynie naturalniej, Mak Verlag GmbH 2005.
She is the author of four articles promoting the science.
As apart of scientific publications, she described 36 selected entries in the Encyclopedia of Political Science, ed. Marek Żmigrodzki, Vol. 5, ed. Teresa Łoś-Nowak, International Relations, Zakamycze 2002.

The area of her scientific interests is linguistics, primarily contrastive linguistics, theory of grammar and textual genology. She conducts research in the field of legilinguistics.

Chairwoman of the Council Of PhD Students of the University of Zielona Góra in the term of 2020-2022.

Senator of the University of Zielona Góra in the term of 2020-2024.
